A Paragon is a Tier 6 tower: the ultimate form of one tower type, created by sacrificing towers instead of upgrading to it. Since v27.0 they have been the ceiling of BTD6's power curve, and the community tracks each new one like a roster addition, because that is exactly what it is.
How you build one
- You need one Tier 5 upgrade from each of the tower's three paths (see towers) on the field, plus additional cash and pops invested in the same tower type during the run.
- Building the Paragon sacrifices the contributing towers, which is why Paragon timing is a real strategic decision rather than a checklist; the strategy framework covers when to commit.
- Paragons are restricted in some modes and events, and they are deliberately balanced to be powerful without trivializing the game.

The v54.0 announcement introduced the Druid Paragon with its official name and mechanics; older entries above come from community records that predate the official list and are being re-verified in-game.
Three misconceptions worth killing
- "Archmage is a Paragon." No. Archmage is the Tier 5 upgrade at the top of the Wizard's first path. Paragons are separate builds.
- "There are exactly eight." The number has moved with every major update, and Ninja Kiwi publishes no total. Any fixed count you read ages badly; that is why this page names them instead of counting them.
- "Paragons make CHIMPS trivial." Paragon availability and power are mode-dependent, and the community's hardest records are built on non-Paragon strategies.
FAQ
How many Paragons are in Bloons TD 6?
No official total exists. We count nine named Paragons as of Update 56.x, including the v54.0 Druid Paragon, and we will rename the number only when Ninja Kiwi does.
Can every tower get a Paragon?
Not yet. Paragons exist for a subset of towers, and each major update may add one. There is no published roadmap.
Do Paragons work in co-op?
Paragon builds scale with team investment, and co-op Paragons are a community staple. Specific contribution rules are mode-dependent and best verified in-game.
